The journey

…started as a small passion and grew into a lifelong hobby. In 2014, I bought an old film Minolta at a flea market in Florida. I studied photography and printmaking as an elective in college and dove into the world of digital. Through the practice of seeing, photography became the art of being attentive - to noticing the tiny pulses of a hidden life. It brought me to ruins of forgotten history, enticed me into transgression, beckoned me to climb bridges and run the tracks of the subway, to travel across the world and take two steps into my backyard...all to bring me closer to the awe and wonder of being human.

My work is a passage of the last 18 years - a simultaneously wild and peaceful transformation of soul.
